DIY Lip Plumper Recipe

If you want plump lips, you don't have to take the Kylie Jenner challenge. Actually, please don't! Try making your own lip plumper for a fraction of the cost of what department stores charge.  By using natural ingredients like cinnamon or something similar, you can stimulate blood flow to your lips.  This temporarily plumps your lips to give you a sexy, pouty look.  The best part? It's easy to make! You can find most of the ingredients at your grocery store or craft store, and I've linked to Amazon to make shopping even easier.

Natural Lip Plumper Recipe

This is an easy recipe to make your own product from scratch.  If you want some color, add a small amount of your favorite lipstick shade when you add the essential oil.

Ingredients
Directions
  1. Melt beeswax in a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
  2. When wax is melted, add olive oil.  Pierce the vitamin E capsule with a needle and squeeze the oil in the mixture.
  3. Let cool until it just starts to solidify.  Add essential oil and stir well.
  4. Pour in to a glass jar with a lid.

Very Easy Lip Plumper Recipe

If you are in a hurry, can't find the ingredients for the first recipe, or just want an easier version, this recipe is for you.  It uses a store-bought lip gloss as a base.  Use a .19 ounce clear lip gloss as a base.  Add 8 drops of cinnamon essential oil or peppermint essential oil and shake well to mix.

Essential Oil

Do not use a fragrance oil for either one of these recipes.  Even if it says skin-safe on the bottle, it is not safe for your lips, and it will not work as a lip plumper.  Use only 100 percent essential oil because it is safe to use on your lips, and it will stimulate blood flow to plump your lips.
