My Top 10 DIY Beauty Recipes

I've made many, many DIY bath and body recipes, but these are my top 10 DIY beauty recipes.  These are the ones I use the most often and remake for myself.

This is a post I've wanted to do for a while now.  I make a lot of DIY beauty recipes.  I use every single one.  All of them are good--or I wouldn't blog them!--but some become favorites.

These are my top 10 DIY  beauty recipes, the ones I reach for all the time and remake when I need more of that item.

These are my favorite beauty diy recipes that I’ve made. These are the diy recipes beauty that I make over and over again because I love them so much. These diy beauty products recipes are for your hair and skin. These are the best diy beauty projects to make at home. These diy beauty recipes tutorials will teach you how to make diy natural beauty recipes step by step. #diy #beauty #naturalbeauty #diybeauty #diybeautyrecipes #naturalbeautyrecipes

I'm numbering them, but they aren't in any particular order.

I'll be back with new recipes next week.  I hope so anyway!  I am still not feeling great.  I'm pretty sure I got sick, got sick again, and then got sick again.

My newest affliction is that I've lost my voice.  Believe me when I say that my kids are loving this.  I've threatened to make them yell at themselves if they get out of line.

I'm getting more energy every day.  Tomorrow, my daughter has pinewood derby for Girl Scouts and we have to celebrate 13 years of Caleb this weekend, so I hope to get some fun things made this weekend.

MY TOP 10 DIY BEAUTY RECIPES

1.  DIY FLAT IRON COVER

I use this DIY flat iron cover every single time I straighten my hair, which is at least twice a week.  I used to have to let it sit on my small counter and risk the kids soaking it while they washed their hands or dropping it.

Now I can put it away as soon as I'm done with it.  It's currently on my Hot Tools Signature Series flat iron.  (Buy one on Etsy.)

2.  DRY OIL PERFUME SPRAY

I've been making this DIY dry oil perfume recipe for several years.  It's great in the summer because the oils help add moisture to skin that's been dried out from being in the pool or in the sun.  My skin is dry in the winter, so it also helps.

I prefer this body spray to an actual perfume because it's so light.

3.  DIY HAND SOAP FOR ECZEMA RECIPE

I probably make this DIY liquid hand soap for eczema the most of any of my recipes.  We go through at least a bottle a week!

It's so quick and easy to make, and this recipe saves me a ton of money versus buying hand soap.

If you don't have eczema, swap out the oils or use it as it.  It's also great for dry skin.

4.  DIY FINISHING POWDER RECIPE

This was a lifesaver in the summer!  I used this DIY finishing powder recipe under my foundation to absorb extra moisture (sweat).

I also use it on top of my makeup to set it.  It worked really well on stage for my daughter.  I have a foundation that I love the shade and coverage, but it was too dewy for my liking.  This toned it down, and now I love the foundation.  (Buy on Etsy.)

5.  STRAWBERRY AND CLAY FACE MASK RECIPE

I adore this strawberry and clay face mask recipe.  It's a powder that you can add different carrier oils or essential oils to.  If I'm super lazy, I just add water.  But there are so many ways to customize it, so you can use it every week and have a different mask.

This one does cause redness for me, but my skin feels amazing after I use it.  Just don't use it right before a date or job interview.

6.  ROSEMARY AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAIR RINSE

I am not a fan of a cold rinse in the shower, so I use this rosemary and apple cider vinegar rinse.  I keep it in a spray bottle and spray my hair after I wash it.

It helps calm my frizziness and keeps my hair soft.

7.  DANDELION SALVE RECIPE

This dandelion salve recipe is the best for dry skin.  I'd heard about the wonders of dandelion infused oil, but even I was impressed.  I used all of mine on my feet, and I can't wait to make more next year.  (Buy on Etsy.)

8.  GINGERBREAD EMULSIFIED SUGAR SCRUB

I've made a lot of sugar scrubs, but this gingerbread emulsified sugar scrub is by far my favorite.  It has an emulsifying wax in it, so it turns into a lotion as you rinse it off.

I made it with gingerbread essential oil, but you can use any scent.

9.  THREE HAIR OIL RECIPES

I can't even pick a favorite of these oils.  I love all three of these hair oil recipes!  I infused the carrier oils with herbs for more benefits.  I use two drops of oil on my hair every time I wash it.  I also use them as a hot oil treatment before washing every few weeks.

10.  HOW TO MAKE SOAP PETALS

I make these soap petals all the time because they are easy to grab to take with me.  I can't use soap in the dispensers because of my eczema.  This way, I can have a soap that won't irritate my skin and won't spill in my purse.

I hope you enjoy my list of top 10 DIY beauty recipes.  If you're looking for more inspiration, try some of the recipes from these top posts of 2018.
