When I was in high school and college, I never thought that I'd end up where I am today as a blogger and author of a book.  I was planning on being a genetic counselor or maybe a child psychologist.

Even though things took a drastic turn, I am very happy with my job.  It allowed me to stay at home with my kids until they were school age, and now it allows me to homeschool them.

Not to mention that my job allows me to be creative, use my mind, and have fun.  And I get to work in my PJs.  What's not to love?

But that doesn't meant that I don't have day dreams about winning the lottery  I don't need millions; I could get by with just a few hundred thousand.

Even if I did win the lottery, I'd still be blogging and writing.  It's what I love.  I just may not be posting three times a week.  Or maybe I'd hire a maid and work the same amount as I do now.

Either way, playing the lottery in Ohio just got a whole lot easier.

I don't play the lottery every day, but I have been known to pick up cards on a whim.  So far, the most I've won is $500.  It was about 10 years ago we had two in diapers, so we spent it on diapers and baby gear.

If I were to win the lottery today, the first thing I would do is update my kitchen.  We live in a farmhouse, but it's 1970s farmhouse and not rustic farmhouse.  My first call would be to a contractor to tear down walls, make my kitchen bigger, and add on a formal dining room.

If I won a lot of money in the Powerball® and Mega Millions®, I'd redo the entire house, build a new barn so we can get alpacas, buy a new car, get my son a car, donate to local nonprofits, and put the rest in the bank.

The new Lottery Card™ is a mobile-enabled way to play the Ohio lottery.  You can find it in the checkout line or with the gift cards at Buehler's Fresh Foods, Kroger, or Giant Eagle grocery stores across the state.  (Customers must be 18 or older to purchase the new card.)

There are no more lost tickets since it's digital now.  Your digital ticket is sent to your phone and associated with your phone number.  You don't even need to check the numbers; you'll get notified if you won.

If you do win, get your winnings under $600 through PayPal, so you don't even have to go back to the store to collect your money.  After you play, save your card.  You can reuse it to replay.

Lottery Card™ is now available for Powerball® and Mega Millions®.  The cards cost $10 for 5 plays or $20 for 10 plays.  There is a $0.89 cost for Mobile Play Benefits.

You have to have location services turned on in order to activate your card.  The Ohio lottery is for individuals 18-years-old or older.  Please play responsibly.

The holidays are coming up.  Lottery Card™ makes a great gift for the hard to shop for person.  It's fun, unique, and everyone loves the idea of extra cash.

Get your own Lottery Card™ to play yourself or give as a gift.  You can find them in the checkout aisle or with the gift cards at most grocery stores in Ohio.

Want to try the new Lottery Card™ for yourself?  10 of my lucky readers from Ohio can win 1 $20 Powerball® and 1 $20 Mega Millions® card!  (Contest open to Ohio residents 18-years-old or older.  Cards must be activated in Ohio with location services turned on.)
