North Star Glitters Review and Giveaway

Thank you to North Star Glitters for providing me with product and sponsoring a giveaway.  I was not compensated for this review.  As always, all enthusiasm is my own.

Y'all know that I love glitter.  The more sparkle there is, the better!  North Star Glitters recently contacted me to see if I wanted to try some of their glitters, so of course I said yes.  My daughter is in plays, so I thought she might be able to use some for her costume too.  In the past I've used loose glitter and a glitter glue, but these are glitter and a binder in one, so there's less mess.  As much as I love glitter, I don't love the mess it makes.  I'm happy to say that these are a lot less mess!

North Star Glitters Review

North Star Glitters aren't just for your body.  They are safe for your face, including your eye area.  You can use them alone on your eyes or combine them with your favorite shadows for truly unique looks.  You can even use them in your hair for glitter streaks or even all over shimmer.

North Star Glitters are available in more than 20 colors in single colors or palates, so you can mix and match your favorite colors.  They have holographic glitter, iridescent glitter, and metallic glitter.

They sent me single glitters.  They are all in plastic pots with screw on lids, so I don't have to worry about them getting all over in my makeup case or while I take them to the theater.

Before I got these, I was using a glitter glue and then sweeping on the glitter.  This meant two dirty brushes at least.  If I wanted to combine two colors, I needed a separate brush for each color.

These glitters are so easy to swipe on that I just used my finger.  They are highly pigmented and full of glitter.  The coverage is outstanding.

After I put on the glitter, I let it sit on my arm for several hours to see if it flaked off.  I only lost a few pieces, so you won't be leaving a trail wherever you go.  Their glitters are sweat proof and water resistant, so you won't have to worry about it flaking off at a summer concert.

Although they are water resistant and stayed in place, it wasn't hard to wipe them off.  I just used a wet paper towel to rub it off.  The glitter washed down the sink or stayed on the towel, and it didn't stain my skin at all.

For my cruelty free friends, their formula is cruelty free!  Their formula also contains aloe to moisturize your skin and beeswax for a smooth application.
