Zim's Max-Freeze, giveaway and information, have been provided by Zim's USA.  As always, all opinions are my own.

I've suffered from both joint pain and muscle pain for the last 8 years. I saw a lot of doctors and ended up with a diagnosis and a lot of medications.  The medications didn't always work, and they were quickly becoming a strain on our budget.  The side effects of the medications were ruining my life, so I made the choice to treat my symptoms as naturally as possible.

Before I offer some of my tips to relieve muscle and joint pain naturally, let me preface by saying that I am not a doctor.  Always follow your doctor's instructions.  These are things that helped me, but they may not help you.

How to Relieve Muscle and Joint Pain Naturally

1.  Know Your Limits

This was the hardest thing for me.  I was always on the go, always doing some big project.  I had to learn that everything had to be done in moderation.  I used to spring clean my house for a few days working for 8 to 12 hours a day.  If I do that now, I'll be in too much pain to move for a few days.  Now I clean for an hour at a time several times a week.  Same with yard work.  I can do about 1-2 hours at a time.

I found that I have to keep moving.  If I don't get much activity for a day or two because I'm sick or busy, my pain gets a lot worse.  A body in motion stays in motion!  If I haven't done much physical exercise, I take a walk after dinner.

2.  Drink a lot of water.

Water keeps your body hydrated, and it seems to keep my pain away.  This doesn't always work, but I do notice that my pain is worse if I'm even slightly dehydrated.  Ask your doctor how much water you should drink each day.

3.  Heating pads and warm baths.

The heat really helps my pain, so I use a heating pad or take a warm bath when the pain gets bad.  Some days, I have to soak several times.  Sometimes I add some epsom salts for even more relief.

4.  Natural topical treatments.

I get a lot of relief from topical treatments with menthol.  This ingredient really helps both muscle and joint pain, so I use it fairly often, usually daily.

Zim's recently sent me two of their Max-Freeze products. Max-Freeze continuous spray formula and roll-on.   I really love both of them because I was using a wide-mouth jar of cream before this, and it seemed like I could never get the product off of my hands no matter how much I washed.

Another reason I really liked the products is that they have also, vitamin E, and tea tree oil.  Best of all, they don't have any artificial fragrances, sulfates, parabens, petroleum, or mineral oil.  I love using products that work that don't have any yucky ingredients!

Zim's USA is generously hosting a giveaway on my blog!  One lucky reader will with both the roll-on and the spray formulas.  They are worth $9.99 each, for a total of $19.98.  Good luck!
