DIY Tea Tree Tooth Powder Recipe

I have to admit, this DIY tea tree tooth powder recipe really intrigued me.  I've heard of tooth powders before, but I never used one before.  This recipe is easy to make with common ingredients, and it is very effective at cleaning your teeth and reducing bad breath.

2 tablespoons green clay
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sea salt
4 drops spearmint essential oil
4 drops tea tree essential oil

1.  Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender.  Blend about 30 seconds, or until well mixed.
2.  Place powder in a clean glass container.  Store in a cool, dark place.
3.  To use, place 1/2 teaspoon on a plate or piece of waxed paper.  Dip wet toothbrush in to the powder.  Brush as normal.  Do not swallow the powder.
3.  This recipe is good for 4 days before it should be discarded.
