DIY After Sun Oil Recipe With Tea

Use this after sun oil to soothe your skin and rehydrate.  This is not a burn treatment, so don't use it on sunburnt skin.  This is to help you keep moisturize your skin and get a healthy looking tan.

DIY After Sun Oil Recipe

What You Need

4 tablespoons sesame oil (you can also use sweet almond oil or olive oil)
4 tablespoons coconut oil
4 tablespoons of strong tea 
4 drops lavender essential oil


1.  Brew one tea bag in 2 to 4 ounces of water.  
2.  Melt coconut oil in a double boiler and add sesame oil.  
3.  Add tea and mix well.
4.  Remove from heat and add lavender essential oil.
5.  Let cool completely before using.  Store in a plastic or glass container.  Shake before using.

Tea helps cool your skin and improves your tan.  Sesame oil helps moisturize your skin, but you can substitute another carrier oil with healing benefits.
