I have the herbs in parts because you can make as much or as little as you want. You'll use about 1/2 cup of the herb mixture per steam, so you need to make at least that much.

Choose the recipe for your skin type and mix the herbs together. Store in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot on the stove, Add about 1/2 cup of the herbs to the water and let simmer for a few minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and set on a hot pad on the counter or on a table. Drape a thick towel over your head and lean over the water. You don't need to be right over the water; you can be several inches away as long as the steam reaches your face.
Steam your face up to 10 minutes. If you get too hot, lift the towel for some cooler air or take a breather.
