Kings Island Kicks Cancer and Other Fall Events

This post is sponsored by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company in conjunction with Blog Meets Brand, and I have been compensated for my participation. As always, all enthusiasm and opinions are my own.

Last week, we took a day off and went to Kings Island to have some fun during their Kings Island Kicks Cancer promotion.  We could not have picked a better day to go.  School had just started in that area and it was pouring down rain in the morning, so the park wasn't that busy.  When the rain stopped shortly after the park opened, it turned in to a beautiful day.

We had never been to Kings Island, mostly because I wasn't sure how my two boys with autism would be able to handle the park.  Before we left, I browsed their website and discovered that they are autism friendly and have accommodations so my boys could enjoy the park better.

Kings Island Kicks Cancer

During Kings Island Kick Cancer promotion, tickets are just $38.99, and a portion of online sales go to the cause.  The promotion started on August 1 and ends August 21, so tomorrow is the last day to attend this year.  Be sure to check Kings Island's website to see what kind of promotion they do next year.

During this event, you can purchase a soccer ball for just $5 and kick it in the foundation on International Street.  One lucky participant will win a 2016 Honda Civic from Performance Kings Honda, and the net proceeds will benefit the Dragonfly Foundation, Pink Ribbon Girls, and Melanoma Know More.
