When you're trying to eat healthy, that means that most alcoholic drinks are off limits because of their high sugar content. This is one of those drinks that isn't too bad for your calorie intake, and you can omit the vodka to make it a mocktail. My favorite time to have this is when I have a cold, sore throat, or cough. I make it hot if i'm using it when I'm sick so the tea helps soothe my sore throat.
Moroccan Green Tea Cocktail or Mocktail
- Brew the green tea according to the directions on your tea. Let it sit for an hour.
- Add honey, lemon juice, and vodka. Stir well.
- Pour over ice.
- Serve with a lemon wedge and sprig of mint if desired.
