Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum Review and Giveaway Ends 8/10

Thank you Mad Hippie for providing me with a sample and the information for this post.  They are also providing a vitamin A serum for one lucky winner.

When Mad Hippie contacted me asking me if I'd like to review their vitamin A serum, I was really excited.  I've heard great things about it as an anti-aging serum, but I haven't had a chance to try one yet.  I was not disappointed at all!  This is a great serum, and my skin feels amazing.  Keep reading for more information about the serum and a chance to win one of your own.

Vitamin A is found in many foods, and it's very good for our bodies when eaten or taken as a supplement.  When applied topically, it can reduce wrinkles, promote skin healing, and protect your skin from UV damage.

If you don't currently use a vitamin A serum, you should use it every other day to start.  Then you can start using it every night after your skin adjusts.  You should apply it after cleansing and using a toner, but before moisturizer.  You want to wait at least 10 minutes after applying the serum before you use moisturizer.

Mad Hippie's vitamin A serum improves the appearance of damaged skin, and it exfoliates.  It includes the following ingredients;

Retinyl Retinoate: This is a new form of vitamin A that is more stable than retinol.  It enhances skin cell regeneration, so it gently exfoliates while it helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, signs of aging, and discoloration.

Coffee Berry: This is a fruit that is high in antioxidants that helps boost collagen production and neutralize free radicals.

Phytoceramide: This keeps the skin hydrated by replenishing the skin's natural lipid barrier.

Sodium Hyaluronate: This is the salt of hyaluronic acid, and it's been shown to penetrate the skin better than hyaluronic acid.  This ingredient moisturizes and plumps the skin while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Oat Beta Glucan:  This soothes and hydrates the skin.  It can also tighten the skin and reduce inflammation.

Alpha Lipoic Acid: An anti-inflammatory antioxidant that can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Coconut Oil - This oil moisturizes the skin and creates and lipid barrier to hydrate the skin.

I've been using Mad Hippie vitamin A serum for about a month now, and my skin feels amazing!  I've got some fine lines starting, and I can't say for sure that they are diminishing, but my skin looks a lot better when I have makeup on because it's not settling in the lines.  After about two weeks, I noticed that my skin was a lot smoother and softer than it had been.

In addition to having awesome skin care, Mad Hippie is also taking responsibility for their impact on the environment.  They use BPA-free and fully recyclable packaging and use soy inks on their bottles.  And their entire facility runs on alternative energy!

Want to win one for yourself?  Mad Hippie is generously providing one serum for one of my fans who is 18-years-old or older and lives in the United States.  Good luck!
