Every year about this time, my allergies start bothering me. I wake up with red, watery eyes and spend the day sneezing. Luckily, Zyrtec helps me keep my symptoms under control, and I do practice a few makeup tricks to help me look my best.
Many women who suffer from allergies also suffer from Allergy Face. Red, watery eyes; blotchy, dry skin; and puffiness around your eyes are all tell-tale signs that you suffer from allergies.
The good news is that you don't have to be a slave to your allergies, and you can look your best! Zyrtec offers some great ways to combat Allergy Face in this video.
- To cover dark circles from lack of sleep, use a thick creamy concealer. If you have redness around your eyes, use a green tinted coverup stick under your concealer. Use yellow if your skin has a blue tint.
- Use a cobalt blue or navy blue eyeliner and mascara to reduce the appearance of redness around your eyes.
- Teary eyes can make your makeup run, so use a waterproof eyeliner and mascara. You can also clean up smudged makeup with an eye makeup remover pen to clean up the lines and help you look great for the rest of the day.
